Travel I-20 East to US-59 Exit at Marshall, Texas. Turn left and go North on US-59 Approx. 5 Miles to Hwy 43 Northeast. Go Approx. 14 Miles and Turn Right on FM-2198. Go Approx. 5 Miles to Uncertain, Texas. Turn Left on Mound Pond Road which turns into Blair’s Landing Road. Caddo Lake Lodge is 3 miles down on the left.

Travel West on I-20 to Hwy 134 at Waskom, Texas. Turn right on Hwy 134 and go approx. 20 miles until it intersects with US-43. Turn Right and Go Approx. 1 Mile to FM-2198. Turn Right on FM-2198 and Go Approx. 5 Miles to Uncertain, Texas. Turn Left on Mound Pond Road which turns into Blair’s Landing Road. Caddo Lake Lodge is 3 miles down on the left.

Caddo Lake Lodge & Caboose

Located on the banks of Big Cypress Bayou on mysterious Caddo Lake, the Caddo Lake Lodge offers a unique, relaxing retreat whether you’re celebrating a honeymoon or anniversary or just wanting to get away for a weekend.

The Lodge

The Caddo Lake Lodge is just a short five minute drive to Uncertain, TX where you can find a sampling of restaurants, shopping and important “left at home” amenities.

With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, the Lodge is fully furnished. The back deck offers one of the highest and most beautiful scenic views on the bayou and lake. With a private dock on the edge of the Caddo Lake Wildlife Management Area, you’ll want to bring your camera, binoculars or rod and reel.

Bringing extra family or friends? For an additional fee you can rent the “Caddo Caboose” which used to be a working rail car which has been converted to a one bedroom (queen bed) with a kitchen and bathroom which shares the back deck with the Caddo Lake Lodge.

Caddo Caboose

The Caddo Caboose was used at the Longhorn Ammunition Plant in Karnack, Texas and the plant provided most of the munitions for the world wars through the Korean War. When the Army shut the plant down thirty or so years ago, the creator of the Caddo Caboose took the car and made it into a great weekend getaway which just opened in July of 2008. It no longer looks like a Caboose from the outside but several caboose fans have stayed with us over the last year since we started renting it out and they have enjoyed it tremendously.

• 6% local and state occupancy tax apply to all room rates
• Check-in from 4 - 7 PM

Weekday Rates:

(Sun-Thurs) are $129 a night (double occupancy)

Select Holidays:
are $175 a night (4 occupancy) with additional adults $20 a night and kids 16 and under $10 a night (3 and under are free) minimum three nights.

Additional adults:
are $15, teens $5. Children 12 & under are free.

Weekend Rates (Friday & Saturday):
are $160 a night (two couples) with additional adults $20 a night and kids 16 and under $10 a night (3 and under are free).

The Caddo Caboose:
is an additional $89 a night (double occupancy) if rented with the Caddo Lake Lodge and $89 a night if booked separately.
